'That Takes The Biscuit' is a short film in pre-production, written by the award-winning scriptwriter Stephan Drury and directed by award-winning writer and director Teele Dunkley. 

The filming is planned for 2023 in Norfolk, UK and the team is currently working on finalising all the details as well as finishing casting some of the hilarious supporting characters.

MEET SOME OF THE TEAM

DIRECTOR

Teele Dunkley is Estonian born and UK-based director, producer, writer and still photographer. Her career started in 2010, working for Eye Film as production

co-ordinator, DOP and editor. Soon after that, Teele went freelance, focusing on making music videos and short films. Now, Teele has directed and produced 27 projects, with the size of the crews ranging from ‘one-woman-crew’ to 100 people.

She has received many awards for her short film 'Metres Apart' and music video 'River Run' and has recently finished directing and editing 28-minute short film 'Losing Us' that is now entering festivals around the world. She is also working on developing various comedy feature film scripts and TV series ideas.

SCRIPT WRITER

Stephan Drury is an award-winning script writer, lecturer at The Open University and an actor. He has trained at Rose Bruford College, a Theatre and Performance academy, and has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia. Stephan has written several scripts for film and theatre productions. He writes black comedy, tragedy and drama that is sharp, witty and psychologically informed. He often explores existential themes of mortality, madness and isolation in an absurdist manner.

‘That Takes the Biscuit’ is the fourth project he has developed with Teele Dunkley.

Paul Cook has built a name for himself in the East of England as one of the top young cinematographers after graduating from Film Studies from University of East Anglia and working on wide range of projects.
His work spans from high-end commercials to feature films. He brings attention to detail and passion for the industry to every project he works on.


Paul and his trusted crew will be providing the latest camera and lighting equipment to the project, ensuring that the film will be as engaging visually.
He has worked with Stephan, Teele on their previous projects, making them a close-knit team.

BARBARA - ELLA KENION

Ella Kenion has enjoyed a long and varied career as an actress working successfully for many years across both stage and screen. After completing a number of stage credits - most notably with The Royal Shakespeare Company, Ella's work quickly shifted focus to television where she began making a name for herself in comedy with her fantastic characterisation and comic timing.

​

Her first major comic role was alongside Martin Freeman in 'Hardware' where she played the part of Julie. Following this she went on to appear in two series of both 'The Catherine Tate Show' for BBC2 and 'Swinging' on Ch5.

​

Ella is perhaps best known for her role as Mrs Cakeworthy in 'The Green Green Grass', a part she played in 30 episodes across 4 series between 2005 and 2009.

Over the years, Ella has appears in over 50 TV projects and feature films. She is known to an International audience as Matt LeBlanc's agent, Beth, in the US hit comedy series 'Episodes'. Ella also played the lead role, Mia, in 'Gates' for Sky Living and has played guest roles in 'Doctor Who', 'Cuckoo', 'Heading Out', 'Big Bad World', BBC1's 'New Tricks', 'The Outlaws', 'The Duchess' and 'Four Lives' just to name a few.

ARYAN - ANTON KAMILLUS

Anton Kamillus an up-and-coming actor who is due to appear in a recurring role in the high-profile sci-fi series ‘The Peripheral’ in October 2022 on Amazon Prime, produced by Warner Bros Entertainment and Amazon Studios. 

 

Anton was raised in Paris before moving to London at 11 years of age where he later trained in acting at prestigious Drama institutions RADA and Identity.

​

He started his acting career on stage playing iconic roles such as ‘Macbeth’ and ‘Duke Orsino’, but has more recently shifted his focus into film and television roles, in association with AKP Management Agency.

Anton also has numerous writing projects in the pipeline, such as comedy feature film projects 'Alternative Spy'  and 'Island Games' that he is co-writing with Teele Dunkley. He has previously worked with Teele on several film projects - as an actor in short film 'The Killing' and as a producer, most notably on 'Metres Apart' and ‘Losing Us’, where he closely collaborated on overseeing the projects from script stages, through to post-production, delivery and festival runs.

COLIN - DYLAN BALDWIN

Dylan Baldwin is a Norfolk-based actor who is making a name for himself in the TV and film world in the UK and Internationally after returning to the industry in 2015. Since then, Dylan has appeared in more than 15 feature films, 20 TV series, 50 short films and 10 commercials.

​

His recent credits include appearance in the comedy series 'Meet the Richardsons', leading role in the critically acclaimed feature film 'The Group', supporting roles in feature film Testament: The Parables Retold, Paramount + Tv series ExWife, CEO James Harwell in Season 4 of TV series 'The Inside Man', the lead role in a music video for up-and-coming band, The Reytons and a TV advert for SafestyleUK just to name a few. 

​

Dylan has worked with the team behind 'That Takes The Biscuit' on their previous short film project 'Losing Us', where he played Mikey - a human trafficking gangster.

ERIC - BEN WOODWARD

Ben trained at the prestigious BRIT school and Urdang Academy and has gone on to work across England and Europe with various Theatre companies.

 

Over the past few months, Ben has been on-set for a new Sky Atlantic drama due out this Autumn. You can also catch Ben at Norwich Playhouse this June in the Musical ‘A Chorus Line’, where he is playing the part of Richie Walters, a hopeful Broadway star.

In recent years Ben has been offering Performing Arts training alongside his wife at their theatre school - Triple Threat Stage School in Norfolk.

 

He also works as a freelance Director and Choreographer and is the Director of the award-winning 'Fairground Frights' at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach.
